A bit rusty, mind sharing feedback on this gaming build?

It's been about 10 years since I built my last PC, so I'm a bit out of the game. I've got the itch again, and I'd love to have a great rig for gaming and photo editing, without exceeding a budget of around $1800. I plan on starting with 1080p gaming on my current monitor, and then upgrading to a 1440p monitor or perhaps even a 4k monitor at some point, so I'd love for my system to be able to handle that for the next few years.

Here's the current build I'm working with...

I'm curious if there are any things I'm missing here, or any ways I could trim fat and save some money? Does this system look like something that will support what I'm hoping to do with it?

Any help would be appreciated!

Better gaming, better editing. M2-SSD and SSD speed is not that much diff, you may not feel it.

wegotparm..is that chicken or veal 😀

hold onto your cash right now. your building at the wrong time. intel coffee lake was shoe horned to people. the people that have the older x270 mb cant use this chip. also there no cheaper chipset then the z that are out there now. also intel next cpu is dropping soon. i dont know if the coffee lake chipset will work with the newer cpu. people that buying these stop gap chip.. amd in causing intel to change and bring newer cpu and core cpu to the table. the old intel you had one cpu drop with new tech then a refresh of that cpu. the older cpu and mb would last a few years for gamers. the amd ryzen there cpu slot going to be around for a few years. so whe nnewer ryzen drops people wont have to swap out there mb. on nvidia side there new volta can drop any time now. volta for the same money is faster then older pascal gpu. volta server side gpu have dropped. people are waiting for the retail cards to drop. on power supplys now there the older cheaper analog units and newer digital ones. go with newer seasoic/cosair unit. you be able to see the output with newer software and to be able to set fan profile. (keep noise down); when your not stressing the pc. on your build if your not going to over clock the cpu then wait for the locked intel chipset and micro atx mb for cost. also look at the newer 1070ti. with gpu look at the cost/performace. the 1070ti is almost full 1080 speed but is lost less money.
