Currently, I have a AMD FX-8320 on a Gigabyte 970a mobo. I want to switch over to Intel because I'm not very happy with the results I'm getting. I'm thinking of getting a i5 6600k, but I'm a budget and I can't spend more then 300 bucks on a cpu and mobo. Im not sure if I want to overclock or not. Anyone have a budget friendly mobo for an 6600k. Or should I just get a i5 4690k on a decent motherboard.

Solution
It's pointless getting a cheap motherboard with a 6600K. You need a good quality Z170 board to put that CPU to use. If you can not afford a decent Z170 board (about $150.00) then forget about overclocking and get a i5-6500 and a H170 or B150 board you can afford. You have to use DDR4 memory also.

If you have to get the price lower you could use an H110 board.
