A change from amd to intel

Hi I was wondering what would i have to do to change to an intel i5 6600k. I know i would have to change the motherboard but is there anything els i would have to do?

Yes you'd also pretty much need ddr4 memory as most good oc boards only use it

So would i have to reinstall windows?

Yes you would, if u have a retail copy no issue, if you have an OEM copy the board swap constitutes a new computer and will make u buy another copy
