Choosing the right PSU for my pc is something I know a little about but not too much. Im looking to upgrade my current corsair vs450 psu. Originally, I was going to get another vs series (650w) but someone pointed out that these aren't the best quality that are cheap. Now Im thinking about getting a 500w evga bronze rated psu:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/EVGA-BRONZE-Tester-Supply-100-B1-0600-K3/dp/B01F67KZEC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546878709&sr=8-1&keywords=evga%2B600b%2Bpsu&th=1

Basically, I want a cheap psu (has to be under £70/$90) that is reliable and I dont have to worry about fires, blow outs etc. Is the evga500wb good or are there any other recommendations? Thanks.

PC Specs:

Processor: Intel i5 7500@3.4GHz
GPU: MSi AMD Radeon rx580 OC 8gb VRAM dual fan
Motherboard: MSi B250M PRO-VD
PSU: Corsair VS450 (450W) 80+
HDD: WD Blue 1tb
SSD: Kingston 240gb
RAM: 8GB HyperX Fury (1 stick)
2* Corsair SP120 Case fans

No, the EVGA B1 is not a great PSU. Here is a solid PSU for under 70.

Yes, but to get a quality unit, you have to look to older platforms.

Which, for the sake of 10-15quid, makes almost no sense, when the much newer TX550M is within budget.
