Hey guys, i have a few simple questions about my build.

Current build: http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/bild/8568256/2015-10-03

I am also using a 1920x1080 Benq 120hz(XL2410T) at the moment, i would like to buy a 144hz screen and use both, but use the 144 as my main and this one as a browser/use for twitch chat while i stream and such things. Meaning i won't be gaming on two screens.

Questions

1. As you see i have a single 970 GTX and i am able to play on the highest settings on all games i have played so far, e.g. BF4, Wildstar, AC Unity, Watch dogs and so on. If i decide to buy a second screen 144hz would that require me to add anything to my build or is it sufficient.

2. I doubt my PC is future proof, for roughly how many years do you think i could continue to play like i am at the highest settings without having to buy say second 970.

At last, the reason i am asking these questions is mainly because i built this PC a year ago and i have been away for a whole year and i only just got back to it.

Thanks :)

Your build will last for 2, maybe 3 years more.
As for the monitor, a second one comes in handy for many things.I hate playing games on 2 monitors , but I got 2 screens just for browsing while I'm gaming or for work.
Depends on what you like when buying the second monitor. You can go cheaper if you're not gaming on it or you can buy it for gaming.

I second ChumP, you'll probably be able to game just fine for a few more years no problem.

To directly answer your Q's:

1) You should be able to add a second screen without noticing too much FPS drop.
2) Highest settings, maybe 1 more year...2 possibly. But you should be able to get 2-3 years easy if you're willing to drop from ultra
