Hi,
I have 2 x 4GB Corsair 3000Mhz DDR4 Vengeance ram. I would like to upgrade to 16GB.
I have a couple questions about upgrading the ram.
My Specs
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte B450 AORUS M
Corsair 8GB (2x 4GB) 3000Mhz DDR4 Vengeance
ASUS - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB Cerberus
1TB 860 evo SSD
650W Seasonic FOCUS Plus Gold
Gigabyte gives a few ram support lists on their website… Which list refers to my Ryzen 5 3600?
https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-M-rev-10/support#support-doc
My other question was what speed of ram should I get? Obviously the faster the better but can I just buy ram at the top speed of 3600. Why does it have O.C in brackets? Would I have to overclock it myself. Never attempted overclocking and to be honest I don’t think I need to for what I use my pc for.
The website says it supports DDR4 3600(O.C.) / 3466(O.C.) / 3200(O.C.) / 2933/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory modules

Thank you
