Hi, I'm very new to PC gaming, and I am trying to buy a PC that can run games very well for a couple years.
I originally considered cyberpowerpc.com, but I heard many negative reviews and comments about them.
I was refered to ecollegepc.com, people on forums saying they are much more reliable.
I will post both configurations for comparison, and review!
For moniters, I do not need to buy one as I have the Samsung syncmaster p2370hd and syncmaster b2030 at home.

Cyberpower build: http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1DCQEQ

ecollegepc build

3.3Ghz Intel Core i5-2500K 6MB Cache Quad-Core

4GB (2GBx2) PC3 10666 DDR3 1333Mhz Memory Lifetime Warranty
500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA300 (Major Brand)
22X LG SATA Dual Layer DVD+/-RW/CDRW w/Nero
1536MB GeForce GTX 580 GDDR5 PCI-E Dual-DVI (Major Brand)
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Foxconn Black FX-TS001A (3 5.25, 5 3.5) Fan, Front Audio/USB
750watt Corsair CMPSU-750TX V2
Onboard LAN included
Onboard Sound included
Black Logitech MK120 Desktop Wired Keyboard and Mouse
Wires and Cables neatly tied up away from fans

the ecollegepc.com build was recommended by someone on the pc gamefaqs forum. It seems pretty good, but I would like some more opinions in terms of how well it will run games, how long it may last before it gets significantly outdated!
Thanks in advance!

The system seems good, but building it yourself may save you more. also adding 8GB of faster RAM, a better motherboard, a small SSD for boot with a 1TB HDD for the games and other stuff.

Both the CPU and GPU are top notch for gaming and will last you a few good years

Yea, I should build it myself. Only thing is, I have no clue how to put everything into the case properly, like where it would go, fans, wires, etc.
Can you recommend me to a good guide that could take me through it?
By the way, thanks for all the help!
