A Couple Questions About My Computer

Ok, So if i get a virus on my computer, how would i go about getting rid of it? i wouldnt mind doing a full reboot / clean because downloading windows 7 would be the first thing I do on it, so I would have nothing on there. or would it be on my computer forever? and if i cant just reboot / restore my computer then how could i get rid of it?

And you're worried about getting a virus with it.
