I am looking for an upgrade for my system to accommodate newer games & software like Pro e etc.....plz suggest something within 20k INR
I have a 450w power supply - 2gb ddr2 RAM - 500GB SATA HArd disc - DVD writer -cabinate- core2 duo E4300 1.8ghz & a motherboard Intel Raisin City DG41RQC

Which Computer Case "Cabinet" do you own? Which Power Supply do you own. Make and Model would be helpful.

I suggest either a low cost Intel Pentium such as the Intel Pentium G4400, or an AMD APU such as the AMD A6-7470K 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor.

I suggested Linux Mint 18.1 for the OS, you can use any OS you want. Later on add a NVidia GTX 1050 or AMD equivalent when you have another ₹6800 saved up.

I suggest reusing your Computer Case "Cabinet", 500GB Hard Drive and your DVD/RW.

The Intel CPU is going to give you the best results, but its a little over your budget.

Cabinet is Zebronics - Diana, power supply is Necola 450 W so I can use the same...n I will go for the Intel build mostly...so the 5k saved on power supply can be used to buy 1050 mini ?

I'll just warn you about the Power Supply now, its going to be the recommendation on this site that you do not use a no-name power supply that has never been fully reviewed and recommended. That said, I understand that sometimes there seems like there is no option and that you will go ahead and use the Necola anyhow.

The power supply I recommended has been proven reliable and inexpensive for the value it provides. If you trust your Necola power supply then go ahead and get the Nvidia GTX 1050 - it should be good for 1080p and medium to low settings on games. If your Necola does in fact deliver 450W of usable power then it should be able to cope with the power demands on the Pentium, and Nvidia GTX 1050. I make no promises however about whether it can handle the stress and do so safely.

Please let us know how your build goes and how you feel about your computer once its built and you've had a chance to test it.

Good Luck

Sir I can stretch my budget up to 50 k INR.....I was convinced with your intel build up but now as our budget is revised we can upgrade the configuration a bit....
