A-Data 4GB Kit wont boot .~ please help

I just bought A-Data 2x2GB PC2-8500 ram , and put it into my Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L , and it didnt post or beep , so I took the battery out and reset the bios , it beeped but didnt post , I couldnt even get into the BIOS, so I put back my OCZ Reaper 2x1GB kit , at the start the posting went funny , after it showed up a screen of BIOS Check sum error and asked me to load previous best setting , and now its working again.... know any idea ??

try using 1 piece of the new memory at a time and see if it posts.. with one chip..

maybe the new memory is bad.

possibly try it in another computer

I tried using one , still wont POST

Boot with a stick of your old memory.
Go into the BIOS and set the voltage manually for the new memory, save and exit.
Put in your A-Data memory, see if it will boot.

+1 for testing in another machine, either that or look to rma for a new set.
