Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU in the near future and I've been running over the stats of several cards..

I'm mostly looking at the GTX 750 2GB, but i've read a few posts that say the the cheaper 650 is actually better in some cases.

What would you guys recommend on a budget of about £100 ($166)

I would like a card that isn't going to be outdated in a heartbeat, but also won't break my credit card.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for getting back guys. My specs were supposed to be in my sig, but have vanished. I'll fix that...

My specs are:

Phenom 2 X4 960T
Kingston 4GB DDR3 (looking to upgrade to 16 soon)
M5A88-M EVO Mobo
Essential ATX 12V P4 550 Watt (will most likely upgrade this to a 650 seasonic gold PSU soon though)
350GB Samsung HDD
400GB Hitachi HDD
GTX 550ti GPU

Where the PSU is concerned, assume I have a good brand 600 - 650 watt PSU, as I will definitely replace mine if I upgrade the card. The current one is struggling a bit due to old age.

Thanks for taking the time to help :]

If you're going to be upgrading the PSU anyways, what else will you be upgrading MOBO/CPU-wise in the future? I can't see the Phenom you have keeping up with GPU's drawing 600-650w, and a R9 270, or GTX 750 Ti will do nicely for now. Since you're upgrading a few parts, let us know what you plan on doing with the PC in the future, as well as what your route for upgrading is.

If you can not afford 750TI - stick with 550TI. Upgrade to 750 (non-TI) will bring you very little performance gain.
650TI (boost) variant is faster than 750TI (stock) in some tests, but there are a lot of factory overclocked 750TI models and 750TI is newer tech - it will work fine without PSU upgrade.
For the memory - 8GB is enough for gaming, better use the money for GPU upgrade.
