The issue with cex is when you order online you are at the whim of what actual model 970 they send you from what store.

While I wouldn't be overly concerned with quality/performance difference cards have different size & power cable requirements.

Some cards are twin 6 pin, some are single 8 pin, some are 6+8 pin & sizes can vary from 260-320mm in length.

What case & PSU are you using exactly ??

Because if the above is of concern then you are better physically visiting a local store if you have one & seeing what they have in stock.

Bear in mind the £60 for a 950 is voucher price which you would immediately offset against the purchase of a replacement
The 1050ti is around 25% stronger so it is an upgrade but for £150 outlay probably not a proper worthwhile one unfortunately.

There is nothing else at that pricepoint at all which is a problem.

Without going second hand you're kind of stuck mate.

A second hand gtx 970 would be a great upgrade at the right price.

If you find yourself stuck then cex would offer £60 for a 950 & sell 970's for £190 putting you at £130 outlay.

While I consider £190 too much really for a second hand 970 cwx does offer 2 year warranty on everything they sell.

Just an option for you to consider
