A disk read error occurred

Solution
- Ensure that there are no flash drives or external drives connected the the PC.

- Reset BIOS to default settings

- Check the SATA drive cables are securely attached on both ends. Try different SATA data cables if you have some.

- Create a bootable CD or USB and get Hiren's Boot CD on it. Use the MBRfix tool in the MiniXP environment. Here is a guide to using the tool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bd73hV0audU

- Use an HDD testing tool like HDAT2 on the Hiren's Boot CD/USB to test the drive for things like bad sectors.
