A driver problem when I installed my new ram

Hello, I got an 8 gb Crucial ram card and when I put it in my 2011 Acer Aspire and started it there was a blue window saying that there was a driver problem, how can I fix this?

Driver problem - What is exact message - Can you boot into Windows - Look in device manager for yellow indicator other devices, etc.

Were you getting that error with old RAM ?

many sticks - 2x4gb for example ?
Try booting with one stick, then the other, separately.

8GB cruicial ram card? What model?

Does this laptop even support 8GB dimms? Did you get the right speed and voltage memory?

Well thank you but the problem was that the laptop isn't rated for 16gb there for trying to put in a 8gb card would not work so I sent it back and got 2x4 gb cards which does work
