I just got into the pc gaming scene. Built a rig with the following
A pentium g4560
A gtx 1060 6gb
A msi b2540m pro-vd motherboard

Now I have a few questions.
With these parts can I install 64bit windows- the system info bart says i have x86 architecture
I tried opening games like watch dogs and fifa but it said I couldnt play cause its not compatible. Does that mean I will not be able to play 64bit games ever?
Basically I just want someone to tell me if the parts I have above should be able to run 64 bit Windows 10. I looked up the g4560 and it says it is built on the x64 architecture so I dont know whats up. Does the mobo influence architecture too? Heeellllp!!

Note: If you only have the 32bit disc. Which can happen with OEM and possibly education. You can download the ISO from Microsoft then create a bootable DVD or USB Flash Drive installer.

Microsoft Academic Download (requires product key): https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/vlacademicwindows10

If making a USB Flash Drive. You will need to use RUFUS to make the installer UEFI bootable. The Media Creation Tool will just be used to download the ISO.
Instructions (Same for Windows 10): https://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/15458-uefi-bootable-usb-flash-drive-create-windows.html
RUFUS download page: https://rufus.akeo.ie/

I saw on a different thread that if it says x86 build on the system information part of your pc then you cant install x64 windows. It doesnt make sense though because the g4560 is 64. Also, what do you mean by clean install

Did you install Windows 10 yourself? Windows 10 defaults to 64 bit, you have to go out of your way to get it to install in 32 bit mode.

But yes if you have 32 bit Windows installed you will not be able to play or use any program that requires a 64 bit OS.

You should reinstall Windows (aka clean install).

FIFI has been 64-bit required since FIFA 15.

But yes, that CPU is most definitely 64-bit compatible. The reason why you're seeing x86 architecture is because of the OS. You will need to clean wipe and install Windows 10 64-bit. Also, on 32-bit, anything over 4gb of memory is a waste on the system since the OS wont see it, so there are definite reasons to switch to 64-bit outside gaming.
