One: I have to remove my 4 RAM sticks in order to even get at the PCIe retention lever to remove my GPU. Would removing the RAM sticks and placing them back in often damage the RAM slots in any way? Probably a stupid question.

Two: Is this cable kit: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07L68G8QZ/ compatible with the RM850x White (2018)?

I install them properly each time, but I'm worried that doing that too much may wear the slot or something

RAM slots were made to install and remove RAM. It will all depend on the user.

Yes, the cable kit will work on the RM850x

I have a couple of systems where I test RAM modules.
I have installed and remove RAM modules countless times and they still work.
