Recently I ve finished building a PC with windows 10 on it. Since i am trying to make it as a graphic designer i came to the step where i gathered all my fonts. I am using NexusFont as a font viewing/installing software, this soft allows you to temporary install fonts, i never ran into any kind of problems using this until now. As I am installing a big chunk of fonts, let's say over 1k i get BSOD. Installing the same folder with over 1k of fonts on some other PC that runs on windows 7 works perfectly. Finally, I managed to isolate the incident and it seems that one font in particular crashes the system. What is it ? The other PC with Win 7 works.. anyone else ever heard of such a thing? Thank you.

Solution
A) Never heard of it.
B) That's only going to matter if you don't have the source backed up somewhere & need to delete the font.
C) Try manually installing the font directly into Windows. If it works, then apparently there's a glitch involving Windows & the combination of that font with NexusFont. If it still BSODs, then there may just be a problem with the font file itself.

Sure I have.

So, now that you know a font can when used incorrectly crash a computer in the real world what are you going to do about it? To get more help from the community you can give us some backstory. Did you download this font? Which operating system do you have? Is the font in the default font folder or? Which program is making use of this font? Do you get a blue screen of death at the crash? How did you come to the conclusion that the font was the cause?

Hey!
a) "cocon" family
b) I really can't remember where I got it from, 'think it was a pack..
c) I haven't tried to permanently install the font, I tried only to temporarily install it via NexusFont.
