A G3258 Question

G3258 is the all famous unlocked CPU.

I was simply wondering what is a good reliable motherboard to match the G3258. I do plan on overclocking to a minimum of 4.0GHZ.

MSI Z97 PC Mate or ASRock Z97 Anniversary is all you need. You can also get to about 4.3 Ghz on the stock cooler. An i3 can beat an overclocked G3258 in some games, but oftentimes the G3258 @ 4.5 Ghz can match it or beat it if the game uses primarily one or two cores/threads. The i3 can be used on a cheap H81 motherboard.
