hi guys iam going to build my first gaming pc but i have a questions here does gigabyte z87x ud3h good for gaming or not ? and will antec h2o 920 cpu liquid cooler fit on this haswell (LGA 1150) motherboard?

so< Does this motherboard run gtx 770 oc windforce x3 smoothly with its high performance

That board is an excellent choice - that cooler fits on the 1150 socket, as the CPU cooler mounting holes are the same as in the 1155 socket. You should also have no trouble mounting that cooler into whatever case you have chosen, as it isn't as bulky as a 240mm radiator. And yes, with this motherboard and processor you'll be able to run the 770 to its full potential. Just make sure your PSU is one of good quality, and at the very least, 550w.

i hear haswells like to get nice and HOT so just dont cheap out on a cpu cooler (who the cooling is nice btw) 😀

Easily. The best place to mount the radiator of the 920 would be the back of the case, where the exhaust fan usually sits. And yes, it's a great case for gaming, as it has good fan mount options for optimal airflow.

yeah i think it will fit as most cases have a 120mm fan mount at the rear (where i hope you will attach the cooler)

i think, just make sure the fan on the cooler is 120mm or 140mm and see if the case has them sized fan mounts (which im sure it does !)

The general rule of thumb is front/bottom are intake and top/back are exhaust. The way you orient your PSU is up to you.

i wouldnt put your psu fan facing your gpu fans so they dont fight for air, i prefer mine facing down getting fresh air for the ground
