Not sure if right spot but as I mentioned in another recent thread I just got my Corsair 4000D airflow model case to transfer my build over to it which had Corsair's lightning node and rgb hub on my old case. I was able to remove them from my old case but in doing so it damaged the adhesive that Corsair used for those. I was wondering if someone could recommend a suitable replacement for them.

Or velcro, that's what I use. Not cheap but very handy. Comes with adhesive backing for both side of the velcro.
That's hook and loop fastener. Do you want to get sued?

You can generally find 3M branded 'velcro' at hardware stores. Same sticky stuff that is nearly impossible to remove, but the velcro lets you potentially replace a bad string.

Test your light strips.before sticking them somewhere.

Are we really getting this pedantic?

That aside, my favorite go-to adhesive thing are 3M Command Strips, though the double sided sticky kind, not the velcro hook-and-fastener type. They're also easy to take off, assuming the pull tab is mostly accessible.

I have used double sided tape, I have used Velcro strips, and also keep on hand a type of silicone adhesive that I have used for things I want to be more permanent.

I actually use the silicone adhesive to glue license key cards to the inside of the side panel for builds.
