Hi everyone.
I am looking for a good and inexpensive Desktop desk/table.
My monitor is 23 inch.
At the moment ive got something like this :

http://www.traderscity.com/board/userpix44/27329-Office-And-Study-Furniture-Desk-And-Table-Mahogany-Teak-Indoor-Furniture-9-Drawers-1.jpg

...but it is no good for desktop table - its just not deep enough (the top is not deep enough so my face would be to close to monitor).
Would you suggest to modify it somehow if possible or to just get a new one?
I am thinking about something like this :

It costs 250 Euro. Would it be good enough for daily use, gaming etc?
It comes in a flat pack (ready to assemble furniture) so I am not sure will it be sturdy enough?
Help me pleease :)

Yes it should handle that monitor just fine. They don't weigh much, maybe 15lbs or so? Wall mounting isn't necessary, just an option if that was a possibility. I have no way of knowing how sturdy the kb tray is or not, it looks sturdy enough. All you can do is try it. A lot of people don't use or have a keyboard tray and like it just fine, my desk has a keyboard tray and I prefer it but it could just be because I'm used to it. That does look like it would make a nice set, that chair looks comfortable - makes me want to get a new chair lmao. For gaming, unless you get really rough with things it should be the same as regular use. Like with most keyboard trays on rails so they slide in and out, if I push on one corner of mine I can feel a...
I think it depends on your monitor. You mentioned it was 23", is it crt or flatpanel (lcd)? It doesn't say how thick that desk is in the link (how thick the table top is) or how much weight it can support. If it's a flatpanel/lcd type monitor it should be able to support it just fine. Crt monitors (old big boxy style) are typically much heavier and may cause issues since a lot of furniture especially ready to assemble is made from wood composites like mdf which isn't overly strong.

If it's an lcd monitor, another option may be to use a wall mount like used for tv's if your monitor has vesa mounting capabilities. Check on the back and see if there's a square pattern of holes with screw threads inside of them in s square or rectangular pattern - that's where a wall mount would attach to the back of the monitor and it might give you more desktop space without having to get a new desk.

Hi, synphul. Thanks for help.
That is my monitor :

Its flat ips panel.
No wall mounting option in this one :(
I think the desk will handle the weight of it for sure.
I think in gonna go for this one :
JULIAN BOWEN SOLID PINE WOOD SURFER OFFICE WORKSTATION COMPUTER STUDY DESK
http://m.ebay.ie/itm/290680946729?_mwBanner=1
Gonna get it from amazon as its cheaper.
Im also thinking about getting that computer chair :

That would be a nice set :D
Im not sure if its more comfortable to use the mouse/keyobard pull out tray or keep the mouse &kb on the same surface as monitor?
Is that pull out tray sturdy enough or is it moving while gaming ?
