Hello!
i really want to upgrade my pc. i currently have a core2quad q9550 2.83 4 gb RAM and a Sapphire HD4870 1 GB.
now im looking on upgrading my RAM and GPU , i use my pc for mainly gaming and photoshop/premier pro /after effects/muse etc etc
what gpu would you suggest me that could do good well on today's games (and in a year or too,but not like ULTRA graphics and 4k thou) and also be quite good for rendering videos
Thanks in advance

I would say it might be time to build a new rig. Overclocking your cpu is about the only way to get better cpu performance from your current platform, ram could be very expensive (depends if it takes DDR2 or DDR3, upgrading to a 750Ti would help gaming but not enough play next years games.

You think 8gb will live up nicely ? ?( i have DDR2)

The 750Ti would help in your Adobe stuff due to supporting Cuda, 8GB of DDR2 is probably going to cost as much as 32GB of DDR3 or DDR4. I just think you are putting a band aid on the system, when it sounds like the workloads you want to run could really use a new system. Yes adding more ram and a better video card will help some but you will still be seriously limited by your current CPU.

What motherboard/CPU would you recommend for 8gb ram and gtx 750
Do you think changing from DDR2 to DDR3 will have a big impact ?

i cant spend that much thats why im not that happy with all the " this wont be good enough " but still
i wil overclock my CPU , it has a huge fa in it so it will do the job fine , ill try to get EVGA GTX 750 FTW and get 8gb of RAM .
that will be fine for me since my job pcs are render beasts
Thank you
