A good gaming setup?

I'm building a decent low-budget gaming PC and I've had some trouble deciding what I should use (I'm new at this). Here's my set up so far:

-AMD FX 6-Core Black Edition FX-6300 processor.
-ASUS GT630-2GD3 graphics card.
-2x 4GB DDR3 ADATA XPG 1600MHz.

I was thinking of getting a 500GB HDD (7400RPM) and I don't know what to look for in a motherboard. Any help or comment would be great!

Get a better graphics card. What is your budget and what components do you need?

It's difficult to answer your question without knowing what sort of budget you have as 'low budget' can be somewhat subjective.

I agree with 'logainofhades' about getting a better graphics card though (i have a 7870 which i think offers very good performance for the price these days if you shop around but again people will have different ideas about that too).

Don't forget about a good quality PSU either which is something a lot of people overlook and in some cases can be the difference between your new build getting fried after a few months or not.
