My config:
Asus h97plus mobo.
Intel i5 4440
4gb RAM DDR3 -spectek.
Seasonic 620w modular psu.

I just wanted a good decent graphics card to play recent games like crysis3 and BF4 with 1080p. And also i propose to use the card for webdesigning projects along with photoshop cc and video conversion projects. I will be upgrading my monitor to 24inch hd led.
I am really confused at cards with amd and nvidia. So i sorted out 2 cards asus GTX 760 DirectCU and asus r9 direct cuii 270x. Which one will be better or should i go for any other, suggestions please !! My budget will be 350 $ and under.
Will increasing my ram to dual 4gb sticks make any difference.Ram i intend to go with corsair vengence.

It might be slightly above your budget, but Amazon.com has the GTX 780 available at $365. That's a very strong Graphics Card and will easily handle BF4 and Crysis 3. There's also the GTX 970 which is a very powerful card in and of itself.

Here's a comparison between the R9 270X and the GTX 760.

They're almost identical in power and performance. You can expect the Nvidia card to run slightly cooler, however. That may or may not increase its lifespan.

It's a very good idea to get your RAM up to 8GB. That will help prevent bottlenecking with faster video cards and reduce loading times and framerate 'hiccups' (moments where you experience a freeze in on-screen rendering for a second or two before it returns to normal). RAM is relatively cheap and always worth having lots of.

In this test there is a slight margin of 3 points difference in score of the radeon r9-270x. Does that mean i can run my crysis3 on ultra 1080p settings? .Thanks thelps i would like to consider gtx 760 but i read in forums there seems to be some problem regarding the directx11 support...it crashes. Dont know how far is it true but investing in a card so high i should not regret in future.
