A good processor for Asus B85M-G LGA

Can you suggest a good processor for Asus B85M-G LGA I have already chosen a GPU that is Sapphire R9 280x Toxic Edition, at first I was looking for a Core i5 4670k but Game Debate says that it can't even run Watch Dogs at high settings and I want a processor that can run Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, GTA 5 and other upcoming games at high settings or in other words can serve me for 1 or 2 years and is compatible with the above mentioned motherboard.

If you are basing the CPU selection on the game requirements for high settings - check with the game requirements and select the reccomended version.

As for compatible with the MB - the MB manufacturer has the same information on what CPUs will work with it.

It can run Watch Dogs on high settings (although CPUs have nothing to do with the settings really), where are you getting your info from?

The i7-4770k is what is required for ultra, and the Xeon E3-1230V3 is like 5% slower than that. If anything will be limiting your performance, it'll be the GPU.
