Question A Good, Quiet Case?

I wasn't planning on getting a new case to replace my Fractal Design Mini C as I don't have the money and the case is okay as it is (it lives under the desk, so I don't see it).
But elsewhere on the forum it was suggested that cases that are this type of design aren't that great?

I thought the fans pulled in air from the sides of the front of the case, then the rear fan pushed air out the back?
If these cases aren't the best, can anyone suggest any others that do well with dust and quietness? Perhaps my house is less dusty these days but I've had this case for a few years, never seen any dust.

My current temps aren't bad?

EDIT: I may have to get a new case as I can't remember if I have the mini or not, but the mini won't fit my new motherboard anyway! Time to get the measuring tape out.

Cheers

Nothing wrong with that case I would add a 140mm extra front fan.
The design is to keep the noise level down but still has decent cooling unless you stuff it full with high TDP parts.

Turns out I have to get a new case as the new Mobo won't fit in the Mini C.
Looking at the similarly designed Fractal Design Define 7 Compact. I did have a slightly cheaper (but very similar) Be Quiet! case on the list but happy to stick with who I know. I think the extra USBs on the top swung (?) the decision and I've had this Mini C for a few years now but it's got pretty much no dust or anything inside. Never cleaned it.

Also decided to add the full sides to the new build.
I don't need a window so can save a few pounds there.

Here's a boring half off topic story:

In a strange twist of events though, the window is very useful for this configuration.
Something happens, usually when shutting down the PC and something corrupts, which means when the PC turns on again, it doesn't POST. Have tried everything under the sun - the motherboard is (was) new as I managed to exchange my old one with an identical one. The only cure is switching the power off at the plug for a few hours. That sounds like a CMOS problem but I replaced the battery, still no POST.
However, a tell-tale sign is the motherboard light not coming on. If there's no fancy LED, I know it won't POST. That sounds like a PSU problem I hear you say? I tested the PSU with a multimeter - all pins reported the correct voltages for at least 20 seconds.

But I'm hoping the new PC will not have this problem, I don't know if the motherboard has fancy lights, so I don't need a window to see if they come on or not. Thinking a solid panel will dampen noise better than a sheet of glass.
