I feel as if I'm not getting the most out of my MSI TwinFrozr GTX 770. I ran Heaven 4.0 at 1080p and it seems that it gets around 30 fps maxed out. I currently run native 1366x768 and most games can run maxed, sometimes it dips into the upper 40's. I plan to purchase a 1080p display soon and I want to know if my system will be able to handle 1080p. This bothers me because the GTX 760 can run most games at 1080p maxed. Here's the bencmark than I ran

Solution
I have virtually the same rig, nothing is o/c'd. ASUS 23.6" #1920x1080 32bit/60Hz
Game settings in various games are tricky, so you just have to experiment. I can do ROME2 ULTRA @ 57FPS Bench and better in the game and other games aren't a real problem with glorious eye candy rockin'.

try running some other bench marks just to check that it not an old testing software that giving you bad numbers. try runing frapps and some games. make sure the video cable connected to the gpu and not the mother board video port. if it is your running off the intel ipgpu. make sure your motherboard bios and chipset drivers are updated.

the GTX 770 can max out any game at 1080p right now, and I never rank my card's performance by the results it gets from GPU scores for this reason;

I have a Gigabyte Windforce 3x R9 290X OC's to 1245Mhz on the core clock stable (really good OC I tell you) and the FPS from NovaBench's 3D score was less that a 7870's, which is ridiculous as when I play BF4, I get 80-90FPS on ultra, much better then any other single-GPU'd card out there right now, that's why I never base my card on GPU tests, your card will be a beast at 1080p.

you'll be fine with 1080p, so go for it!

Okay, so I maxed the game (Metro Last Light) completely out at 1080p, and I was getting 23-27 fps, then I turned SSAA down to 0.5x, and I was getting 150 fps. This was with SSAA at 0.5 and this was with SSAA at 4x (maxed). I don't know why that would make that big of a difference.

civers, I downloaded the latest drivers when I installed the system.

Solution
Hmmph. I guess that's all it can do I guess lol.

I also assume that optimization comes to play, since there are so many makes and models of different cards, but I really did expect more out of this card on Heaven. Well, I can't play Heaven, so it doesnt matter. It boils down to what you play, usually. I'm glad my card isnt defect, at least, lol.

You all helped me, but Delroy really showed me that it's just what the card can do, and Im going to have to accept that. Thanks for the help everyone.
