A gtx960 or a gtx970

Its time for me to upgrade to a better gaming experience, so I need your help I can't choose which is better is it Asus ROG GL552VW-DH71-HID10 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-ROG-GL552VW-DH71-HID10-i7-6700HQ-2-6-3-5GHz/dp/B017NDWXYM/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1464620598&sr=1-3) or is the MSI GE62 2QF Apache Pro 219-HID1(https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GE62-Apache-219-HID1-2-7-3-5GHz/dp/B010EI2CWQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1464614567&sr=1-1) better. The only differences i can see is that the rog has a 6th generation i-7 processor and the msi has a 5th generation one and the msi has a gtx970 and the rog has a gtx960. So I don't know which is better a more powerful cpu or a gpu

I would pick the Asus and see if I could add a 128gb ssd.

The reason is with the 6th generation, you get ddr4 ram. The 960 will do well on that screen, and will even run 1080p on a monitor at a decent fps. Not the highest end of gaming, but if you were really interested in high end PC gaming, a desktop is the way to go.
