[SOLVED] a-link wl54h(c) not working

so im using win xp sp3 i installed the drivers for a-link wl54h(c) but its not working whats the thing im doing wrong?

Assuming that this "a-link wl54h(c)" is some WiFi adapter, what exactly does not work? The driver itself, or you can't connect?
Can you see the WiFi adapter properlu installed in Device manager? Have you tried (temporary) disabling security on your WiFi router?

so my windows doesnt show it on the network selection list when i try to use it as the primary network device sorry im intoxicated and from finland so im having a hard time telling you the problem

realtek software wor rt8185 doesnt work even when i downloaded the software from the hardware makers site

Had to check this was not some old post someone resurrected. What is this thing you call win xp

If I remember correctly there is some strange restriction based on the service pack on winxp. I forget if it was driver related or it was it didn't support the modern data encryption in wifi.

If my memory serves me correctly, SP3 (and probably, some KB's after it) was needed for WPA2, that's why I've recommended temporary disabling Wi-Fi security.
