Hello . I have a small (big , don't know for sure) problem . I've tryed all kind of programs to see my motherboard temperature , but all of them ( SpeedFan , Everest Free etc.) tell me the motherboard temperature is the same as the CPU temperature) . If for example the CPU temp is 45 C , then the motherboard temp also shows 45 ; if it shows 46 C - then motherboard temp is also 46 etc .
Basically , it show the temp of the CPU instead of the mobo.

I don't know if that's ok , or if there is a problem .

Here are my hardware conf , I just copy/paste from the gigabyte web , where i posted this problem , but after many days , no answer.

PLS help . Awaiting for your response , thank you .

No , i haven't just bought the mobo . I have it for 5 months , something like that , but it didn't bother me that it shows the same temp as the proc , until a week ago , when i just wanted to find out what is the matter , if there is a BIG problem .

Anyway , the revision is 1.0 , and the BIOS version was F2 , but I updated it to F5 recently (to see if it fixes the problem) . F5 is the lastest on the gigabyte website for rev 1.0.

Well , I just tested the pc wizard 2007, and the same . It shows that the mobo temp is exactly as the cpu temp. :( . Ty anyway for your advice .

What could it be ? :?: :?

For a good system tool, do google search on SANDRA. There is a free system analyzing/optimization utility you can DL. I am using it on my 965P-DS3 and it shows both CPU/Board temps, voltages and fan speeds. I hope it worksfor you.Good luck.
