A little help folks

Hey folks! I want an upgrade gpu but dont know if it fits to my system.. Current system:
athlon 860k (yup its crap)
a68hm-k
geforce 750ti (mini..)
8gb RAM 1600mzh
psu 500W (dont remember firm but nothing special)
I wanna buy 970 or 1050ti but dunno which fits better my system?

The 860K is still a solid, entry-level CPU and, provided you're realistic with expectations, should still serve you fine.

An OC on the 860K would likely help you out some, but I don't think that's possible on the A68 board...... and the potential gains are not worth the investment in a new board.

Something like a 1050TI should be a pretty solid pairing - although the 860K may hold it back in some instances but, overall, a solid improvement over the 750TI.

Without knowing anything about the PSU, it's hard to say..... but the TDP of the 1050TI and 750TI are the same so *should* be fine.
The 970 is an additional 70W TDP over the 750/1050TI, so I wouldn't risk it without exploring the PSU first........ and the 860K @ stock speeds would likely restrict the 970 in most situations anyway.

The 970 is the bigger jump in performance, so if you can power it then that's the one to get. If your PSU doesn't have the pci-ex connector, then the 1050 Ti is t the one to get. Just make sure it's a model that does not require a 6 pin pci-ex connector, because some of them do.
