Im about to upgrade my cpu mobo and my rams

Thinking of buying ryzen 1600 or 1600x,i would like some help with the best mofo and some ram kits 8gb or 16gb dual channel

Budget will be around 400$ - 450$

id like some compatible mobo and memories for the above cpu,gonna ultra gaming and multitasking

btw is the ryzen a good choice?

There's some switching you can do in with this. If you want the 1600x you will need a CPU cooler. The ram is very fast and ryzen benefits from fast ram. You can also get an x370 mobo is you want a little better OC. Also what will this system be for? For gaming intel is better. But price to performance, ryzen wins.

Dont bother with the X versions. You will get more performance overclocking the regular version then you will with the X serries.

If you think you'll do a good amount of editing the ryzen may be for you. But if you're mainly gaming with light editing the 7600k may be a better option for you.

Gaming wise get Intel. It has better single core performance and will give you better fps. But like I said, if you do editing ryzen will beat intel
