A little suspicious about updating my BIOS

HI TomsHardware.

Code:
So I have an Acer Aspire F5-572G-595M, and I want to update the BIOS to version 1.13
. I'm a little nervous to do this. Why? Because:

1. It says on the description page "2.Update EC V2.6 to improve game performance on GT3e CPU." There is no such thing as GT3e CPU - GT3e is a GPU for Broardwell (5th generation core i processors)

2. I DO NOT have a 5th generation Core i processor. My CPU is 6th generation core i5-6200U

3. In the "README" file, it says "Click "ZRW_113.exe" under Winodows mode" This makes me REALLY nervous about the coder, because "Winodows" is a typo, most often happening in rushed conditions. Maybe the coding was not properly written, and that it may cause a brick to my laptop.

4. I am VERY suspicious about the contents of the BIOS update - There is no .rom file or .fd or .bin file. The files are:
xerces-c_2_7.dll
platform.ini
iscflashx64.sys
iscflashx64.dll
H2OFFT-Wx64.exe
FlsHook.exe
Ding.wav
BiosImageProcx64.dll. My old laptop - Acer Aspire E5-571G-524H had all those files AND a 'BDW.fd' Why doesn't my BIOS file have it too?

The BIOS update is: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_1.13_A_A.zip?acerid=635932846540294795&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=ASPIRE&Step3=ASPIRE F5-572G&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=PA_6

Unfortunately, acer provides no way of updating the BIOS via floppy disk OR USB. Only through Windows, which is insecure

"If the laptop is fine, don't bother to fix it!" Well, its not working fine. System INterrups WILL NOT be ilde. The GPU is downclocked to 950MHz, and the CPU is TDP "Downed" to 10 watts

Is it safe to update? Based on the rather incorrect description, I'm guessing its raising the clock of the HD 520 from 950MHz max to 1000MHz or 1050MHz?

Thanks for your help in advance

I have never actually updated my BIOS on any of my computers. The reason is because if you start updating the BIOS and you have a power cut then your PC is ruined 🙁

It can make your PC unbootable, so I would recommend it unless you really really need to update the BIOS. Also if you are going to, make sure that it's the official BIOS update from the manufacturer and not from another website, etc.

Hope this helps, good luck :)

THank you for your answers. THey are from the acer website.

"I have never actually updated my BIOS on any of my computers. The reason is because if you start updating the BIOS and you have a power cut then your PC is ruined 🙁 "

NOt really, because on my old laptop's BIOS (Aspire E5-571PG) it had an .fd file. I could just put the .fd file in a USB, press Alt+Esc, and it would most likely work. On this BIOS, I see no way whatsoever to verify if the BIOS update is safe.

What makes me REALLY nervous is how acer forces us laptop users to update WITHIN Windows. Since I have so many CPU monitoring, Embedded Controller controlling and Fan controlling software, as well as Intel XTU, all those programs might interfere with the process.
