Is there anything like it? The difference in price of laptops with 960m and 970m or even 965m is always around $300 at least and that would make the laptop too expensive for me. Performance-wise the cards are too different as well imo.

Solution
The GTX 965M should of been the mid poing with only 780 cuda cores. However, I am a bit supprised as the GTX 960M only has 640 cuda cores, meanwhile the GTX 965M packs 1024 cuda cores while the gtx 970M = 1280 cuda cores.

To put those in desktop categories:

GTX 960M = GTX 750 Ti
GTX 965M = Underclocked GTX 960
GTX 970M = What would of been the GTX 960 Ti (if ever produced)

So to answer your question, no there is not. The GTX 965M is so close to the gtx 970m in performance which is why their is a huge price gap between the 960M and 965/970M.

If your hurting on money, the GTX 960M is still a pretty beefy GPU for 1080P. It equals a gtx 750 ti which when released had spectacular performance at 1080P, and still does today.
