A minor, albeit late, rantette about TR Chronicles

Bleh.

I picked up a new copy of this over Christmas (after buying it full price a
whole bunch of years ago) from the SoldOut range. I really do NOT remember
it being so buggy the first time I played this game. Lara freezing, sliding
off stuff she shouldn't and what have you...

the biggest dissapointment so far, mind, is how little time it takes to
play! I've already reached the Ireland levels (half way or thereabouts) and
its taken *far* less time to reach the half way point in this game than the
previous episodes. I reckon if I'd thought more about it when I originally
bought the full price version I would have been mightily annoyed. Heh. I
well may have been at the time, but I really don't remember.

There is one other thing....A while ago I posted a question up here asking
about what folks thought were the creepiest critters that Lara went up
against? I went on record as saying the nasties in the Atlantis levels and
someone (Mrs T?) posted up about the Changelings in the Ireland
levels....Yep. Thems are creapy critters and no mistake. Ick.

Looking forward to being able to play user levels 🙂

I found chronicles a bit boring as well.

It felt like the company in question thought "throwing a bone" to us fans
would keep us quiet.

I thinnk the idea was probably good, but it seemed to have been rushed
through so we ended up with a small game.

You know we really have them in Ireland. They crawl under your bed at night
and just moan there until dawn.

Tiny little bansidhe sent on errands of annoyance?

Nibbling at your toes?

Resetting your alarm clock when your asleep?

Sleep well! ;-)

Getting the changelings stuck under the ridge is fun. They spin around and
around, grunting the whole time. Remember the creepy dancing baby from Ally
McBeal?? lol

And that's why I'm always late for work. But does anyone believe me? Of
course not... 😛
