Hi!
Soon I am renovating my gaming setup with a new desk, painting my wall and just generally renovating my room and I also wanted to buy a new monitor, I always used my monitor (a TV) also as a TV and its nice but now when I wanna buy a new monitor I wanna make sure that the monitor I buy can also work as a TV.
I'm using something thats common in my country thats called I think Digital TV converter box (I don't know if its also used in other countries) that from what I see only have to be connected with a weird cable that I dont know, also power cable and also connecting to the TV and that's it, the question is, Will every monitor that has multi connection for both the pc and the Digital TV converter box work as TV and also PC montior? or does it have to be optimized for that?
I would like to know and also to get a recommendation for a monitor that can work as TV and PC monitor, Around 24-27 Inch would be good and I prefer with built in speakers and the budget is around 300-350$.
if it matters my PC specs are R9 390X, I7 4790.
and the monitor doesn't need to have 144HZ or something like that, but if it will include 144HZ i prefer with freesync.
