I am after a motherboard that can reliably run 3 x 512MB DDR DIMMS. Keep in mind that single sided 512MB DIMMS are unobtanium at the moment, so 845x chipset type solutions will not work.

Is anyone here actually running with 3x512 DIMMS? What type of motherboard/memory are you using?

I know that many motherboards have 3 DIMM slots but how many can actually run that many double sided DIMMS reliably?

Well, you might want to look into an AMD motherboard and processor. The ABit KR7A-133 can run 4* 512MB DDR DIMMs reliably as they are Registered.
