Hey guys,
I have bought a new Asus Tuf Gaming 3080 Ti ...(opened it myself).
The problem is I am getting relatively low score on superposition 1080extreme.
Before this card I've had a gigabyte vision oc 3080 and I got better score with it (31000).
with the 3080ti somtimes I manage to get 34000 at the first superposition ran but at the second ant third and...test I am getting 30000.
the card temp is 65 celcius on load
I think its my psu which is corsair 750w platinum. The Asus website recommend 850w psu.

I have a r7 7700 with pbo on (enhance mode 2 75 degrees)
msi x670-p board
32 gb ddr5 cl30.

what do you think?
is there a way to be sure other than testing a stronger psu?

If you average the 3 runs while ion the RTX3080Ti, you get 31,333 on the score.

Corsair is the brand of the unit while 750W is the advertised wattage of the unit while Platinum is the advertised 80+ efficiency rating of the PSU. What is the model of the unit? How old is the unit?

msi x670-p board
Is this;
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-X670-P-WIFI
your motherboard? If so, what BIOS version are you on for said motherboard?

You might want to run DDU and remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

the model of the psu is Hx750i.
don't know how old is it (bought it used) just know it is the first issue I get.

yes thats the board the bios ver is 7D67v1 (the last non-beta one)

I have ran the ddu and installed the drivers again but not in safe mode.

thank you for your reply 🙏

I want to update this thread and maybe get an understanding about this issue.

I have dropped down the desktop resolution for 4k to 1080p and suddenly the card gets constantly superposition high scores and even getting warmer..

what do you think is the reason?

the test was always 1080 medium

edit: it wasnt the resolution..its the refresh rate. when I lowered the resolution to full hd I also lowered the refresh rate from 144 to 120hz.
that what makes the difference.
