I'm researching the parts for a new computer build. I could spend days and days reading all the stuff their is to know and understand but I am not very understanding when it comes to parts and how they compliment and work together like you folks here. After reading some of the reviews here I have kinda come up with a couple parts I like. I am a gamer along with other software stuff I do but gaming I will say is the main objection.

for a cpu I like the intel core I5- 10600k. I select the k so I can over-clock a little. At the same time it seems a lot of builds today are going with the AMD Ryzen. Would I be better off going with the AMD?

for memory I'm not sure - I like the corsair vengency DDR4 -3200 (2x16) but I'm not sure if I should go up
to the DDR-4-3600. I also like G-Skill memory cause I have never had any bad experiences with them.

for a main drive I like the WD Black SN850 a M.2 drive but I'm not sure the M.2 drives are that much faster then a regular SSD so any thoughts here would be nice.

I would like suggestions for a good Mobo but also suggestions for the parts I have selected. You guys are like pros at doing this and I do appreciate your thoughts. I would like to keep my budget under $1500 but at the same time I would like to have parts and build that is a favorable upgrade system for later down the road. As always think you for your time and experience.

As I said it will mostly be gaming but I do use it for other software. I look at it like if it will play games, it will do the other design software with no problems. I am in the states. oops..resolution is just 1080.

Seeing how the Nvidia RTX 30XX series cards are in high demand yet short supply atm waiting a month would be in your best interest imo.

A B560 board should do you just fine or you can look at a Z590 board .. they have a few of them listed on Newegg with prices if you want to check them out and more should start showing up on there any day now.

Here's a few B560 boards I found today while surfing the net and more will start showing up soon enough. Those boards will be substantially less expensive than the Z590 boards.
