HI folks. Was wondering since most you guys know this stuff inside and out. I want to get the parts for my son to build a new computer to play mostly WOW with. He plays mostly on console but I want him to learn to build his own desktop. I have a extra 750wat power supply from a old build that he used before it just got too old to play anything. I live on my SS so I'm not very rich but I was hopeing you could but together the parts for around $1000 dollars. A little less would be nice but I think i can handle the 1k ok if necessary. I want to thank you in advance for any insight on this. Thank You

Intel's 11th gen Rocket Lake due out in three weeks offers native support of 3200MHz RAM, PCIe 4 along with improved IPC. TBH though, this is the worst time ever to try and obtain a graphics card due to the shortage on them.

Thanks Why_Me, looks like some nice choices. After reading on the new I11 cpu's i think I will wait and see what they end up being. Just one question .. will the motherboard you listed work ok with the I11. Don't want to go ahead and buy something that isn't what I can use ?

Here's two reviews of the current Intel 10th gen Comet Lake i5 10400F. Expect the newer Rocket Lake version of that chip (i5 11400F) to pump out better numbers for the reasons I stated in my first post.
