"At Hangar 13, our mantra is "Every player story is unique'," said Blackman. "Our ambition is to create next-generation games that allow players to shape their own experiences, from the moment-to-moment gameplay, to the long-term impact on the world, characters and narrative."

So its a 2d platformer?

If they're working on a next-gen title, it won't be released for about 7 more years. Wonder if they're doing anything for current gen.

/s

When they mention next-gen, I assume they're referring to the PS4, Xbox One era since they're still being called that while the PS3 and 360 are on the market still.

When someone ends their post in "/s", it means they were being sarcastic....he was being a smartass..

i think your all confusing next gen games with next gen hardware, the two don't necessarily have to go hand in hand. I think they are talking more about the gameplay, offering something that is not currently available (next gen). I for one, am excited by the sound of next gen gameplay, rather than a string of COD and battlefield games that are all more or less the same with updated graphics.

"the studio aims to build Triple-A titles for both PCs and consoles, with their main quality being that each player will get a unique experience."

"So, based on this information, what kind of game do you think is being brewed within the halls of Hangar 13?"

nothing but cr....garbage. com'on you're really going to pose that question after such a promise of unique experience and put console in the same sentence.

if you're a game maker don't even bother coding for pc's if your going to make it work on a console...seriously when it comes to playing console games on a pc there's always a hack for that...save your time and money and let the hackers do the rest for you. consoles are for the poor and the lazy or the lower IQ (sub 100) masses.

Although with your own description of "Next gen" they always have something that is not offered in other titles. Thus they would actually be unique. Next Gen is just a marketing term. Just as hardware companies use "This is the fastest hardware we've ever created" which is laughable because why would anyone purchase it otherwise?

Next Gen games always meant that it utilized new technology, able to access features that wasn't available prior, it does not mean it'll have innovative features or be really that much different from a previous titles. Next gen games, for example, could be just a game that went from DX 9 to DX 11, with nothing more than a smooth running port, and it qualifies as Next Gen. Don't read too much into it.
