A new motherboard

I was wonderig what motherboard would be able to accomodate 8gb of ddr3 ram and an intel i7 processor, or maybe i5

it depends on what generation processor.a third generation i7 or i5 would need a 7 series motherboard.z77
a 4th gen processor would need a 8 series motherboard.like z87
all can have the max of 32 gb ddr3.
