If you're in a company working on a domain, yes.
If you're using it for home, No.

Pro lets you work on a domain and gives you the security required for corporate networks.

Home takes that extra security out because you don't need it.. it just simplifies the security.

Save your money, go with Home.

Others will argue it but that's because they don't know what they're actually talking about.

bit easier to network sometiems with pro.. but yeah its not really worth it if its just for you.

Actually alot of the stuff that is 'taken out' of home can be installed. Its just not installed during the normal install process. You have to look for it.
