So I wanted to see what everyone else's suggestions on this build and what/how I plan to use it, or even if its possible as I haven't worked with most of the stuff I want this PC to do. My ideas for this build is to be able to have a NAS, and have it run multiple instances of Kodi (generally I wouldn't want to have something that is already a NAS do anything else but it would be fun to try).
I would use Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard edition, this will allow me to back up pcs on my home network, and I will be able to run Hyper-V. I want to do this so that multiple people can watch what they want and therefore need more than one instance of kodi. I dont really plan on needing to run more than two instances of kodi because I do have a RP2 that has kodi already running. Than I need to figure out how I can send audio and video to the device that will connect to these virtual machines(that run kodi). I have tried some remote desktop software that does work with no latency that I have found, but I cant really run software on kodi so unless hyper-v has a screen capture with audio im shit outa luck on this whole idea. So I might need to put Linux on a virtual machine and than run kodi on that so than I could run a software using Linux. I would also need to have the virtual machine controlled by the computer or what ever took control of that virtual machine. If this wont work with what I have picked out I might just use this build to make a NAS and just leave out the whole virtualization thing with kodi.
I thought it would be fun to try and make this work by using the least amount of money, smallest case, and even if this build doesn't work with how cheap im going I would like to see your builds, and how you would handle this situation. I didn't include storage or ram as I already have them but your welcome to include it.
Finally for what you have all been waiting for my, cheap, small build for NAS/HTPC kinda thing.
EDIT: I messed up I thought I picked a way better processor let me fix it here is what my build was looking like anyways. This is going to be a bit how about you dont go off of mine right now lol.
