a person's name has a $ after it. How do i get it off? How do i give access to her folder to other people?

Where are you seeing this $? What folder are you talking about? Is this her
profile? A Shared Users folder? Have you looked at the sharing/NTFS
permissions of this folder? Not really understanding what you are getting at
and where you are seeing this $?
