A Problem With Explorer

My operation system is Windows 2000 professional with sevice pack 3.My IE version is 6.0 with sevice pack.The problem is that after about a hour's work,I can not explor to any partitions and any files in my computer when the explorer is start from the "MY COMPUTER" icon on desktop.But when I input the "c:" in the IE's address blank,I can exploer to anywhere of my computer.Please tell me why,and how to solve this problem?Thanks very much!

I ran into a bunch of silly problems with the IE6 service pack.
Uninstalling it and reinstalling IE6 pretty much cleared them up.
