I have an HP deskjet 870 Cxi Professional series. It has been a very good machine so far. It's almost 6 years old and functioning very well. But i have been facing a problem when i try to print anything from the net.
If whatever i am printing is fitted into one page ... there will be no problem.
But if the content takes two pages or more ... this is where i face the troubles .... the first page comes out fine but the 2nd page or whatever is following usually miss the first line ... and sometimes i get the first line printed but only with its lower half ... so it misses the upper halves of all the letters in this line.
I tried to reset the page setup and play around with the header or the footer, but it never solved the problem.
Sometimes, i copy the content and paste it into an MS Word file and print it from there.
But i am trying to find a solution for this while printing from the net.
So do any of you have a solution for this matter?
Thanx.

Damn, it's so quiet in here.

I think it is driver problems. I have a Deskjet HP 890c Pro series and HP had no supporting drivers for
WinME, Win2000 and WinXP. It actually worked better with the built in generic drivers
in XP but still has hiccups printing some docs.

You might check the page setup in your browser. HP inkjet printers have a printable region. The bottom margin is about .5 - 3/8 inch or so. Thats probably why the print is being cut off. Increase the pages bottom margin setting to about .75 inch and the problem may go away. You may still have problems since web pages don't trully have and page breaks. Remember that web pages aren't built with printing in mind. They are built to be viewed.
