[SOLVED] A proper way to format an old ssd that i plan to use on a new pc?

So what i did is i plugged in the old (had old windows installed) ssd in my new machine.

I have a m.2 drive and a fresh windows install in there. So as soon as the computer booted i instantly opened boot manager to boot into my fresh windows install, then i went to disk managment and formatted the ssd (quick format).
This is what it looks like now:

So my question is, am i good to go now? Do i have to do anything else? Why does the formatted ssd have "529 MB NTFS Recovery" and 100 other mb in there?


English is not my first language and i hope what i wrote makes sense..

Disk 0 is the old drive?
It has those partitions, because that was part of the original drive and boot partitions.
A simple "format" does not get rid of those.

Commandline function diskpart, and the clean command will wipe that whole drive.

Also remember, when installing your OS, disconnect all other drives while installing. That way you know the bootloader gets installed to the boot/OS drive.
