Hi, I need a PSU to power a basic PC with an i5 8400 and no GPU. mATX motherboard; 1x SSD + 1x HDD. Don't want Corsair CV/VS. [Lack of C6/C7 Support and group regulated platform]

You can easily disable that sleep state in bios, just FYI.

Robot or human?

EVGA BR series is not group regulated and does support the C6C7 sleep states.

BR450 is basically the same price as the 500w version.

Yup, I knew could disable that, just wanted to get rid of my 2 year old VS with a noisy fan
