a question about 423pin and 603pin processors

Is it possible to get good results from overclocking a xeon 1.5Ghz 603 pin and a pentium 4 1.4Ghz 423 pin processors?

By know means do I want to run any games on theses processors. Since I am new to overclocking and pc building I did not want to spead $300 on a processor with a high chance of me melting it. So, I just got 14 older processors to mess with until I feel confident modifiy hardware in general. I basically want to see how far I can push them and if they are stable I would like to use them in a rendering farm (basically a cluster).

Both those chips are very old 180nm cores, and already near their peak (absolute stable) performance (clock speed wise).

On the required server mainboard (for the Xeon), don't expect to be overclocking at all.

As for the Pentium 4, that particular core (pre-Northwood) has a value of under AU$25.

So basically I can just toss the chips because it wouldn't be worth it. What would be a good chip to start overclocking on? Something that isn't too exspensive and isn't too old.
